EVO Line of Tactical Folders
I originally named this line EVO (Evolution) because the central concepts of these designs are evolutions of my original design concepts from several years ago when I had a go at making tactical folding knives.  People loved the concepts but unfortunately I just wasn't good enough at making knives of this sort and at the time could not afford the 'learning curve' to get good enough.  Years later one of those designs sparked a collaboration with a knife manufacturer and over the course of prototyping for that project I actually got rather good at building Tactical Folders and now make them alongside my bread-and-butter pieces (medieval knives and swords.)

More than merely an Evolution of my original concepts though, I believe this line of knives represents an evolution of what a Tactical Folding knife is and what it is for.  When I began the design process I started effectively with a handful of concepts and a blank slate and designed the knives without reference to previous tactical folders by other makers.  I found that the process took me to many of the same places others have gone before... but to some very different places as well.  While there genuinely is nothing new under the sun when it comes to knives the EVO folders do have a unique look and a combination of features not found elsewhere.  You can read more about these features here
