CSD-Micro

The Nepalese Khukuri has long been aknowledged as one of the finest tools and fighting knives in the world.  The Gurka warriors of Nepal have used these formidable knives to great effect in conflicts spanning the globe but thay are also used throughout Nepal as an everyday tool as well.  It's hard to improve on success- but if we didn't try we'd still be living in caves.  There are many fine traditional khukuris on the market already but I am introducing this new line of 'modern' khukuris to give the modern soldier or outdoorsman an option of having modern materials, ergonomics and features while retaining the traditional form and function of the legendary Khukuri.

CSD Khukuris from TPT will feature  removable scales of either G10 or exotic hardwoods.  The selectively-hardened, 3/8 inch thick 5160 spring steel blades are convex-ground to a zero-edge, handles are full-profile and are a full 3/8 inch thick.  Blades are offerred in either 'Bright' finish or Parkerized finish.  Leather or Kydex scabbards are available.  Configuration and pricing of these Knives will be listed as the information becomes available.

Two models will be available initially-

the original CSD (shown above-)
The CSD features an 8-1/2 inch long blade with an upswept point

The CSD-Micro features a 5-3/4 inch blade and a compact, ergonomic handle shape.  You can see the CSD-Micro in action HERE
